I will try to describe it.To begin with, my dream tour is a gastronomical experience. Which country would I choose for that? France? Or Portugal? Perhaps China? Oh no, I will definitely choose Italy, the region of Tuscany. Since culinary in Italy is a real art. All Italians cook perfectly (I already assured myself in that), in addition Italians are genuine gastronomers. Just as quality of the products, this should be on the perfect level, so art of cooking matters a lot for this nation. The whole tour program from start to finish should be built around products and cooking. Moreover, only local products should be used. For instance, cheese tasting will include the excursion to the farm, where buffalo cows are bred and then the cheese is being made. Think about these yummy cheeses like Mozarella, scamorza, burrata! Really, isn’t it true that it is interesting not only to look at, but also to participate in a process? Therefore, “my tour” would definitely include not only the tasting, but also a participation in the cheese production.I would really like to spend the whole day in a restaurant with senior chief cooking new dishes. There I would get the hand of working process organization in a restaurant. The most important would be that I do the honors with cooked dishes by myself. It might be a bit scary – what if guests don’t like the dishes?! Hence, it is quite some responsibility I would say. During the whole tour I would like to have diners each evening with the traditional Toscana meals accompanied by a certificated sommelier. Of course, the dinner we would cook by ourselves, though under the considerate guidance of senior chef.Another thing to do during the gastronomic tour would be to visit wine cellars, especially the ones situated in Chianti. Further, I am keen to get a pizza’s baking master class from a real pizzaiolo. The term is used for multiple world champions, they exist in Italy! Moreover, would be interesting to visit a small factory, where extra virgin olive oil is being made and to practice being professional taster of olive oil. Plenty of other things I would like to do in such travel. The main thing in my culinary adventure around Italy is to capture that Italian cuisine is also Italy itself, a little bit bitter, spicy and incredible juicy.
