How pleasant it is, while sitting at cozy restaurant at my hometown Riga, to think about different types of tourism – informative type, sportive, family, romantic and most trendy – culinary tourism, even though I think any tourism is a little bit culinary seeing that explore the world isn’t so  interesting when you are hungry.Referring to the Internet: “Culinary tourism or as well you can call it food tourism – that is travelling along the countries and continents for knowing specifics of local cuisine, culinary traditions, with the aim of tasting unique dishes or ingredients.”My autumn holidays by chance concurred with Autumn Riga Restaurant Week. This project which is being organized by the Riga Tourism Development in cooperation with the "Latvian Chefs’ Club”. This event takes place once a season a year and around 25 restaurants take participation in it. Best chefs prepare traditional Latvian seasonal foods –appetizers, soups, main dishes and desserts. Persons will not only be able to enjoy the seasonal dishes, but also learn more about them, as well as participate in the preparation process and learn to make them. My culinar tour started from review of restaurantsmenus. Which restaurant to choose? Mm... I mean everything sounds so delicious and delicious and delicately.... May be this:In Latvian grape leaves Fried pork fillet with honey caramelized autumn apples and celery-potato terrine ?Or this:Roasted duck breast with caramelised autumn apples, pickled pumpkin and red wine poached cranberry sauce ?And for desert:                       Cranberry semifreddo with fresh cheese mousse, mint cookie                                            crumbs and red bilberry marmalade ? No-no, I dare say this is the most attractive for me:                              Rabbit ballotine's strudel in creamy mushroom sauce with      salad made of autumn vegetables .......        Veal rolls in cream-hemp seeds sauce with black pudding croquette, baked pumpkin purée, and violet potato chips .......              Warm autumn waffles with almond, cranberry parfait, and heather-blossom honey. How tasty it was! The autumn products had an amazing taste and flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by combinations of products.
